Hi guys, I'm researching the forums because the "CHARGING SYSTEM FAULT" message just appeared on my 2016 LR4 Silver edition. I have an extended warranty that i purchased when i bought the vehicle used but if possible, I would like to do the repair myself and use more robust aftermarket parts (since the original parts seem to have a design flaw) Does anyone have part numbers I can refer to? Is this an alternator problem or something else? Also, is there a more robust aftermarket part that I can use to fix this and avoid the problem later? Thanks folks!
