Default clicking sound from front of engine

Hi Everyone! Today we got our first snow in Chicago and this morning I noticed a distinct clicking sound coming from the front of the engine. I've found a clip on youtube that matches it exactly. I'm suspecting a timing chain, however I'm looking for some other more experienced eye (in this case ears) to share their interpretations of the issue.

Any help is much appreciated :-)

Thanks in advance.

Everything I'm finding is that some are suggesting it's the fan clutch, others are saying timing chain....but no consensus. It's a pretty distinct sound, surly someone on here must be familiar with it. If not, I will post my findings if I do get to the bottom of it.

timing chain would be a rhythmic clicking/chattering not the sound you're hearing above.

Well that's starting to make me feel better.

Does anyone have audio of what the timing chain sounds like? I know they are a common problem. Is the sound equally distinct, or does it hide a little better with some of the normal engine noises?
