I agree... these vehicles are getting older and history and maintenance is key, unless you're up for the full restoration.

I didn't bid on that LR4 I was checking out but it went for $1100, which was pretty much where I was thinking....was hoping more like $1000. That leaves a lot of cash available for needed repairs and updates and upgrades, I do have a reliable DD that I rescued so I am familiar with Land Rover needs, and I am not in any huge hurry.

I might well make a bid on the LR3 I found at the same location. It's an SE so should have 18" wheels, the dash looks uncracked from the interior pictures and I could part out the rest and sell what's left to the scappers. And I'm going to keep lookinguntil I find that one.

Forum people will always tell you that good ones arn't hard to find and for sale everywhere...well that's Your everywhere, not mine. Kind of like the ham radio forum folks who won't buy anything they haven't seen and all. Yeah that's fine if you live where there is local availability but not everyone lives there.

I see one little crack on the passenger side airbag flap. Hugely better than mine.
The Coverlay is an alternative but I read a lot of negative tales about them.
