My wife just got a quote of $3,500 to replace the oil pan gasket in our 2016 Land Rover LR4 6 3.0 cylinder. It said it would take about 20 hours of labor. Can anyone confirm this sounds right, and how hard is it to do yourself?

 

not outrageous but get a second opinion on where the leak is coming from

 

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. I did get a second opinion so we went ahead and had the shop fix the problem. It price looks like what you might expect to pay.
