Default Expansion Bubbles. Blown Head Gasket?

new expansion tank and cap after cracked at seam, fresh bleed. Wondering if head gasket compromised. Not sure test kit will read positive. No Coffee oil color, no steam. 56K engine in 2016 chassis LR4. Thank you in advance for any ideas for this friend's car.

Have you ever had the engine overheated?

thanks yes - prior engine the owner melted. this engine overheated when the expansion tank split. A miracle if the gasket didn;t get compromised / head cracked, cylinder meltdown.. Although slight chance mechanic didn't bleed properly (wishful thinking)

I am think it's blown. Small but it will grow iver time. I am going through the same problem now. The issue with these engines is they are aluminum with small thread3d headbolts. When they heat up the bolts loosen up causing head gasket leaks. Jaguar/Land Rover has onown this. The good news is you are catching it early.

The link below is the inserts. This will help prevent it from happening again. The key is never let it overheat. Definitely a challenge with all of the crappy plastic parts. Once that is done, it will definitely help make it a solid engine.
