I had a general question, and was hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction. Trial and error hasn't been panning out too well.

I bought the 2014 - 2016 headlamps, assuming it was a simple swap into my 2013 LR4 (according to the site, it was). They fit, but barely. Though the grill doesn't fit back into place because of the headlamps overhang.

My question is, can I successfully install these onto my 2013 LR4 with simply acquiring a 2014 - 2016 grill, or do I need to also fit an entirely new 2014 - 2016 bumper cover, too? And are the 2014 - 2016 bumper covers and grills compatible with a 2013?

Any insight would be extremely appreciated.

 

I'm showing that the bumper covers are the same part numbers between the VINs: (V)AA000001 - (V)DA999999 ]
That pretty much means from the start of production in 2010 to the end of production in 2013

They changed in 2014: EA000001 - (V)EA999999

And again in 2015: FA000001 - ]

I'm not sure if the part numbers supersede making the new ones retro back to the older models, but there was definitely a change of some sort between 2010-13 and 2014+
