Default Fuel pump location on 2016 RL4?

Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone had any issues and or changed the fuel pump.
my R4 won’t start. the starter spins and I made sure the battery was fine and then I noticed that I can’t hear the fuel pump working so I’m thinking that might be the issue but I can’t seem to find it. Is it above the tank and do you have to drop the whole thing just to get to it? Help would be greatly appreciated

Your LR4 has three pumps. Two high pressure pumps bolted to the passenger side of the engine block and one low pressure pump inside the tank. If either the HPFP or LPFP goes bad, the car may not start. Its important to know which one is faulty. If the LPFP is faulty, the tank does need lowered and it would behoove of oneself to also to the fuel filter (aka fuel tank cap, not to be confused with fuel fill cap) as they are prone to cracking and leak.

Thank you for clarification. I don’t hear the fuel pump engaging so I think it’s the one on the tank. I dropped the tank Friday night and I’ll troubleshoot tomorrow will let you know for sure what the problem was.

I dont know the LR4 setup, but I would think it would be faster and easier to disconnect a fuel line some place and check the in tank pump that way.
