gotta love these dealer prices
It is no wonder why dealers have a bad wrap. The 2010 and on 5.0 motors have faulty chain tensioners, The 3.0 motors have chain tensioner issues as well. Class action suit is filed, Range Rover agrees to fix 2011 and newer models. My 2010 Range Rover Sport is at the dealer for two recall issues, faulty fuel pump flange (I changed the last one 4 years ago at 60k miles and replacement of rear spoiler. Truck checks out on the multi-point inspection with a couple of recommendations: 1. new wipers 2. parking light bulb 3. bumper camera pushed in, needs to be pushed back into place and JB Welded or RTVed into place 4. TPMS sensor (I just got an OE part from FCP Euro $42, $20 install at Discount Tire). Price estimated from dealer to fix these issues: 1. wipers - $169 2. park bulb $64 3. front bumper camera push and glue $680 4. TPMS sensor $239. Amazing. I did get a Jaguar F- Pace for two weeks, nice car, a bit on the smaller size, but it gets up and moves. And they did wash the RRS for free......... I can only imagine what they charge for a car wash. Phil
