Default iPad Mini Mount

I would like to get an iPad Mini for my LR4 and would ideally like to mount it in front of the built in screen, which I use for pretty much nothing in normal driving. Is anyone aware of a way I could mount it in a clean way?

Do you have a 3D printer? With a bit of design work, you could fashion up a mount for your iPad mini that replaces the wood trim piece under your current factory screen.

Cool idea, but unfortunately not - I think that's a little above my pay grade too!

Here is what I recently did. Doesn't move at all.

This looks great, thanks for posting. Have you tried taking the sticky part off the trim at all? If it's strong enough to hold that up for a long time I'm just wondering if it might damage it or leave a lot of residue.

I like that! I did something similar with the 12.9 IPP but thought that it was too heavy for that panel to support.
