Default Key Fob

My LR4 is 2 years old now, and one of the keyless fobs has fallen apart. Initially one of the corners of the rubber surface began to lift, I showed the service department this during my last service visit. No the entire front face has fallen off and the fob is unusable. My local dealer says it's not their fault and it's not a warranty claim, apparently I'm liable for the fob myself.

Anyone else had any experience like this??

They are absolutely wrong.

Print out attached bulletin and go back to the dealership. As long as you're still under factory warranty, it will be covered.

If the dealership is not local, then just call, ask them to reference this bulletin, and order the parts that you will need, which can then be installed when they arrive.
