Default LR4 Auto Start / Eco Mode With A/C

I have a 2015 LR4 which currently has a non-functioning/dead Eco Mode battery (the second battery that enables the "start/stop" functionality that everyone loves so much - not!). A crossed out Eco Mode light shows on the dash to indicate this function isn't working. There's no issues in practice because I hate this feature anyway, other than the annoying light.

My question - if I replace this battery, is it possible to turn the feature off so the vehicle remembers my choice OR if I leave the ac always turned on (I am in a warm climate), will it stop it kicking in?

Thanks!

Hi,
On my son's 2015 there is a buton on the center console to disable that NON-feature.

Yes I have that too, but what I would like to avoid is having to press it every time I start the car. I'm not sure if it remembers the choice, or just won't kick in if the a/c is running. The latter would be better in a way because it won't show the warning light for this non-feature!

Sadly the answer's no. After 3 replacements of that battery I finally gave up and glad for it as now I don't have to press that bloody button every time I start the engine.
