I have had my LR4/D4 for a year now and have to admit it runs like a train, it's as near perfect as any 4x4 can be, admittedly it's a 3.0 SDV6 diesel but it does everything I need it to in absolute comfort. There is plenty of warranty still on the truck so any major failures are covered but I can imagine they are unlikely. The fuel consumption is better than my D2 2.5 TD5 albeit the insurance is more. To anyone considering buying a late LR4/D4 you won't regret it, they do exactly what is claimed of them.
