In my case, the hall sensors (A1120) of the smd mounting just fell off. Which are in a brown plate.

In this case, there is such a thing as the BMW 6HPTCU Gear sensor, the board itself.
I gave the guys who have equipment, they opened everything and soldered and diagnosed everything, for which I thank them!

Usually its happened with a mechatronic electronic Continental (Simens) PCB (printed circuit board). Other - Bosh work very well.
Main error its broken contact in hall sensor. In my situation just departed from PCB.
You just need put back it on PCB :-) In my situation i found service company that a fixed this for me.
Also you can check all other parts in mechatronic and gearbox, like oil, solenoid, and more :-)
