LR4 no crank no start
First off, thank you to all of you who co tribute tho this forum. Without you many of us new people would be simply lost and this body of knowledge is incredible.
I bought a 2011 landrover lr4 base. It doesn't run so I got it very cheap. The owner said it shut down while driving and he got it towed and never could get it working. He's not mechanically inclined so I'm hoping he just didn't chase All the threads necessary to find the issue.
I put in a new battery and hit the start button and it turns on and does nothing. Radio works, lights, doors, seats, etc work but no crank. It shows low oil but other than that nothing.
Any thoughts of which thread to pull?

We need to see the codes before starting!
Section 303-06B in the workshop manual describes the starting system. There are many checks completed by the ECM before allowing a start to be initiated.

Get a long breaker bar or ratchet and a 24mm socket, take the fan off and see if the engine turns by hand first and foremost. if it won't turn then we know the problem is internal to the engine. If it will turn, then the issue is outside and we will need codes.
IMHO, most of these codes indicate a battery voltage problem. I would check all the grounds, battery cables, main fuses etc. Erase all the codes and start over. LRs trip a ton of codes like this if electrical power to the modules is not sufficient.
