LR4, sudden loss of acceleration, steering column locked, System faults
Hello, Discovery 4 was driving around 20km/hr and sudden loss of power, no acceleration, steering wheel locked. Messaged that appears were Tyre pressure monitor not available, HDC not available, specialprograms off. I think it also mentioned something about Fuel, but I had 3/4 full tank. I put car into park and turned off the engine. It restarted first time and displayed no fault messages but stalled another 2 times within 4 miles on the way home with the same system fault messages.
Any advice on what could be the problem would be very helpful.
Start with the battery. V sensitive to low charge. Although if it was while driving could well be the alternator not running properly
Take it to a place with a code reader and get the codes read then post back
