Default LR4 tires and lift recommendation

New member and new owner of a 2016 LR4 here. I am looking to upgrade the wheels and tires from the originals (255/55/19) and found a set from a 2020 Defender that I like. The new ones are 255/60/20 which I believe are just at 32". Will these fit my LR4? If so, what is the minimum lift required? I'm thinking I can get away with 1.5" but want to make sure. Pic is of new wheel/tire sitting on ground (not mounted) with LR4 in Offroad height. Thanks

The johnston rods website maintains a pretty good table describing this.
Yet, I was recently swayed by my inde, with loads of off road experience, to cap my oversizing aspirations on the tires to consider the chance of an air suspension failure, and how to recover if that happened.
fwiw.
cheers.

I have Cooper discoverer rugged treks 265/65/18 they are almost 32" and they fit fine and they only place they rub in slightly on the frame horns. the lift really doesn't help much for rubbing. Get an XLifter, it's a game changer much better than rods as you can set suspension to any height you want at any time. Also the self leveling feature is amazing...

And then, while at the Land Rover Experience in Manchester VT last weekend, I asked a series of related questions.
Firstly, a properly operating air suspension IS self leveling, on its own.
Secondly, with the extended lift feature, is there really a need for a lift??
And if so, the XLifter is useful, but a modest 1.5 inch is really all that may be needed for me… and only when headed off road.
The senior instructor and coach “David” dispelled all the rumor and innuendo, and took me back to the first principles of off roading I learned , then taught in the army.

I believe he is referencing the feature that levels the vehicle on uneven terrain for sleeping which the stock system does not do. From the Xlifter website:

Use the unique self-levelling feature to level your vehicle on almost any uneven terrain with the touch of a button. Enjoy a unique sleeping experience whilst travelling either in-car or with a roof top tent.”
