Default LR4 V6 engine vs Jaguar V6

I happen to be in need of a replacement engine for my 14 LR4. There aren't a whole lot of LR4 engines locally, and the LR4 3.0 is more expensive than the 3.0 out of a Jaguar. I'm wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between the engine out of an LR4 and an F-Type or XF? Looks like some of the accessory drive brackets & pulleys, and the oil pan, but looking for someone who has actual knowledge.

im in the same position. Were you able to find out if the F type works on the LR4 and what changes needed to be made for it to work? Thank you!

That is correct. Some of the accessories are waterproofed for a higher wading depth and the oil pan is different so it can go up and down steep inclines without starving itself of oil. Other than that, they are identical.
