Hi, I picked up my first 2012 LR4 last week and am loving it. I am looking to add running boards for kids to climb in and out easier and maybe roof rails. Through my research on Atlantic British and Rover North, Romik is the only available option. However, all of the available options listed has a footnote "except with rear AC" on the listing, not sure what it means I ran the vin decoder to see the options on my LR4 and there is no mentioning of rear A/C. However, on the back seat on the ceiling of the LR4, there is an AC control and vents as well. Does that mean I have rear A/C and the Romik would not fit? Also, for roof rails, there is a Short (available) and Long (not available) Option. Does the short rail only go up to the B-pillar and Long is to the front on A pillar? What other options do I have for the running board? Many thanks in advance.

 

Hello Sam. Yes your LR4 has the rear AC option. I just bought an LR4 last week and it has two locking cross bars on the roof rails. It came with running boards the PO had taken off. Mine has the rear AC also. I will measure them and take a pic of them for you if that helps.

 

I’ve just got a 2016 with ORM running boards that are coming off. They’ve got new LR trim that the stealer added prior to the sale and are immaculate if anyone is after a set. I’ll list them for sale soon once removed.
