A quick report of my thoughts as a new LR4 driver:
It's awesome!!! The most comfortable ride of any SUV I've ever driven (including Mercedes, Audi, etc). More power than a locomotive and able to climb tall mountains in a single bound lol. It's Super Truck!
But in all seriousness, yeah it kicks ***. Well put together, no glitches so far and does what it's advertised to do. Threw on some Cooper Zeon tires and took it offroad and holy hell, it's literally a tank. Rock crawling.... yawn. Mud.... pfft. Steep inclines in snow and ice.... that got the heart going a tiny bit but still a non-event. About the only thing that has stopped my offroad is my unwillingness to dent it. No rock sliders on it so I shy away from hardcore trails with huge boulders to navigate or get hung up on. But anything else so far has been 100% doable.
Got some thumbs up heading home from the trails. Not every day you see a brand new white LR4 coated head to toe in globs of mud lol.
Zero regrets

Just wanted to update everyone that I picked up my LR4 today. Thanks to everyone for their feedback, opinions and experiences. It was greatly appreciated (I'm sure the LR dealer appreciates it as well!)
So I picked up a silver/almond 2012, 9500 miles, HSE package, 7 seat comfort and climate package, and 20" Gloss/black wheel option (I wasn't looking for the wheel option, this one happened to have it and I thought it looked pretty sweet)
I also had them CPO it out to 2018 or 100k (I've referenced my 98 Discovery nightmares in previous posts...).
So for all that, including the CPO, I got it for $48k which I thought was a pretty good deal. I purposely waited until end of month/year to negotiate the best deal I could.
I tried to attach a pic but I'm doing this from my iPhone and I have no idea if it attached. If not I'll try again later.
Thanks again everyone and Happy New Year!
