I have the infamous sticky gear selector where it's really stiff to move it back and forth.

I bought all the parts from the dealer to do it myself but when I open the console, the shifter assembly seems to be in a single piece.

If anyone has done this before could you lend a little insight?

If I had to guess, I am going to need to unbolt the shifter assembly and open it up to do the maintenance.

Can someone confirm this?
