Just spent a week on the dunes and beach at OBX.

And my kid tried to switch to sand mode with a fist full of sand!!!

With a quick vacuuming, managed to keep the sand out of all but the temp control dials. Once I got home I managed to get the rubber bezel off, and using a 6.0hp DIY vacuum directing the full blast.... but just can't get the sand out.

Anyone had this problem?
Anyone know how to take the rotating/floating parts apart?
I'm sure I'll end up breaking it if I try without knowing more.

Also, where is the best place to get a true LR workshop manual.

Apologies I forgot to provide the model details..
LR4 2012
The problem I'm having is with the new type rotating temp dials for dual climate control.
They should float and rotate effortlessly... But not with sand in them!
And manuals for this model seem hard to come by also.

That isn't very encouraging!
I'm guessing shop manuals are as rare as hen teeth then?

How about these temp dials... any thoughts about how the might come apart?
Or even about how the whole center console dissassembles?
