Default Tire replacement 255/50ZR20

Looking for best options to replace Nexen N'Fera RU5 that came on my 2016 LR4 when I purchased it. Vehicle now has 55k miles and tires are needing replacement. The ride is great on them, but wanted to get others opinions on the best replacement option. I don't do anything offroad. Mostly around town and some highway trips. Live in the midwest so snow is not a major issue except for a few weeks each year. Also, thinking of adding 1.5 lift kit solely for appearance. Any thoughts are much appreciated.

This would be a good tire for you Tire Rack . All season, top in category, XL load rated. Most of us run all terrains on here but I think that would be a good tire for your intended use. I wouldn’t suggest taking it off road beyond gravel/dirt roads. Rocks will probably cut it easily (like any all season / non-AT/MT).

If you do choose to do a mild lift, may I suggest going to a 255/55r20 tire. And if you want “the look” of the lift, going to an all terrain tire will also look way better. This is an excellent tire Tire Rack
You should reprogram the computer for the larger tire. You will need an IID Tool. You can also change the ride height with that tool (I run 1” on road and find that to be good without feeling tippy), diagnose issues / read trouble codes, etc. Depends on how into these trucks you want to get. And how much $ you want to spend.
