TPMS Registration Error - 2010 LR4
All,
I have a TPMS issue that I have not been able to fix.
Background - Two TPMS died and bought the replacements. Got them configured at a local shop. 15 mins later the TPMS showed solid which is an indication of a programming issue.
After a lot of back and forth, I was able to pinpoint that there is a code entered on the Spare Tyre with ID: 00000000. My LR4 never had a TPMS on the spare tire cause it has the space saver one since day one. I am thinking that this is the culprit.
Any idea on how to erase the 00000000 from the spare tire on the TPMS system? Maybe resetting the TPMS Module to factory but not sure how.
Thanks in advance!

There is no tpms for the spare tire. So the 000 you see is just an empty entry
And not sure what the shop did, but they don't need configuring. They auto program after some period of running for the first time - usually within a few hours
Did you get OEM Land Rover tpms sensors or aftermarket ones? The system is quite finicky and doesn't always work well with the aftermarket ones. That's the most likely issue
Also - did you get the right frequency? Some run at 315mhz and some at 433mhz. You likely need the 315 but check with dealer
If you didn't get LR OEM ones I'd start there. I know they are more expensive - but that will likely fix your issue
