Don't believe the nonsense about 150,000 mile drain interval on diffs, etc. On the LR3 (similar) the front diff has 1/3 the fluid capacity of a D1, a lot more HP, and a dainty LR4 at 5600 pounds, which makes a D1 or D2 seem "trim". Yes, syn oils are great. But a new front diff is $2200 +. A lot of maintenance schedules are based on being a leased vehicle, pushing maintenance costs onto the future owners. I would go for a more "arduous" maintenance schedule.

Buzz is stating that Land Rovers overly generous intervals in regards to maintenance is harmful to the vehicle. If plan on keeping it a while, take care of it. Cheaper in the long run.

Just wanted to say we went for the 2010 Inpanema sand LR4 HSE Lux...

So happy with the truck. Picked up the trailer mount and wiring kit and will tackle that this weekend. Doesn't seem hard, saw a video on YouTube on how to wire it in.

Does anyone know where the stock subwoofer location is / size / specs?
