Any good write ups on homemade Disco 1 snorkels? I would like to do one in the Mantec style.

These are really a good start and i appreciate the help.

I will of course be putting my own spin on it and making improvements where i see fit.

 

 

You could basically use exhaust piping for most of it. I have one out of a vehicle that was rolled on the side.
Just a rubber hose coming from the front of the airbox where the little horn used to be, through the hole in the inner-fender and to the pipe.

If you want some photos/measurements of the pipe and such lmk and Ill be glad to send them as its all sitting on a shelf right now.

Check out the Southdown snorkel like Disco2ct has. It is the same as Mantec.
