Default Cdl

Hi all, so I've been considering about purchasing the CDL kit from lucky8 and before all that I did some research about locating the nipple where the kit will mount on the TC but I didn't find anything. I also couldn't find any information on whether if my disco 2 has the CDL but nothing came up. So maybe you gents can help with that. I drive a 2002 land rover discovery 2.

I believe the CDL nipple was only on '99 to '01 Disco 2 with no linkage, LR skipped the '02s and the CDL nipple returned again with the linkage for the '03 & '04.

Thank you! That's literally what I wanted to know. Damn Google and it's continuous disappointments. Anyways that's a bummer, well would you know if I can buy a TC that has CDL and all I have to do is attached the linkage to it??

the CDL did not return until 2004. late 02 and 03 Discos do not have it. Once I get back to work (been on furlough since March) I plan on going this same route with a LSD rear

Have the same year and also needed to get the TC replaced but I had my local indie mechanic source the parts and do the work. If you want to do your own work then I would recommend reaching out to Will Tillery at roverguy.com and he can get everything you need at a reasonable price.
