People will think you are an under cover K9 dope dog unit... it looks industrial strength for sure.

Well, I could have covered up the fuel pump.....but I didn't! I still need a latch/hinge that won't raise above the floor surface but no rush. Also, I need to figure a way to hold the cap down as I don't have the plastic screw receivers any longer.

The new floor is awesome. Gets hot as helleck where I didn't put metal and insulation down (footwell rear seats)...so I'll probably add a sheet on the floor as the insulation/metal method seems to be working well elsewhere.

I picked up some piano hinge pieces a while back. Do you want me to cut you a piece? Let me know what length you need. This is some narrow but good quality chrome looking piano hinge material from a Macy's display unit. I think it would be perfect and install easily.

How big is the bit that rises above floor level? Do you have the reflector for the rear bumper end cap. I remember you saying you didn't plan on putting the endcaps back on. I treated mine with the recommended stuff and painted my bumper black and it looks great. Like a new rear end.
