No difference in fuel consumption. Notice in the pictures above that I used a laser cut spacer. I used "The Right Stuff" sealant to seal the space too the valve cover and weighted it down and let it dry over night. Then just use standard gaskets. 30K miles with no issue. The posts above are pretty comprehensive but I'm glad to answer questions. It is not a bolt on change. Read carefully...

Thanks,

I was referring to the 6 plenum gaskets you used so the upper intake would clear the rocker covers.

I'm in Oz, so I'll be using Yellow Terra. Hopefully it should be a more of a bolt on. But, I've read the rocker covers have to be spaced about 10mm and therefore the upper intake as well.

I didn’t take the time to have an upper intake spacer cut. The stacked gaskets haven’t caused an issue.

Hey, how thick are your rocker cover spacers? I've got the same issue as you with the Yella Terra rockers.

I believe they were 5/16". Laser Cutting Service, Inc. | Birmingham, Alabama - Welcome They can look up my order. Ask for Keith Waters and reference Richard Grimes land rover valve cover spacers. I'm sure he can cut you a set.

Thank you. I need the car for this weekend so I'm going to try siliconing two rubber gaskets together and 6 plenum gaskets as a temporary fix. Then I'll get the spacers made up. Cheers.

Damn! That looks so beautiful.

They look like they can take a serious beating.

Would you entertain the idea of putting together a kit?

Total project cost was under $1000 but that doesn't count a good bit of free labor. All good, Richard

Next project is adding a set of auxiliary driving lights using an OEM Land Rover wiring and switch kit and a set of LED lights attached to the factory soft bull bar.

Hello, This is a old thread. I would like to purchase two sets of rockers if possible?
Kind regards, Bruce

Bruce, I bought the roller rockers directly from Harland Sharp. They did not have a kit to fit a Disco. If you read back through the thread, you can follow the steps I took to engineer them got my application. Richard
