NON LR motor in LR ?

Default NON LR motor in LR ?

anyone done a swap to a new motor . say toyota or gm ?

any swap kits out there?

Your current motor is likely a GM motor. The block on the Disco I and II is from a Buick!

my plan was to install a good reliable motor that does not require head gaskets every 40k miles

With cooler thermostat and a good temperature gauge like an Ultra Gauge you'll get more normal miles out of the HGs. 184,000 on my D1, and it certainly has not had multiple HGs, if even the first one.

they have a GM bolt in kit for RRC and D1's
