Default Roof underside - pics?

Does anyone have pics of the underside of the roof without the headliner installed? I'm looking for some creative ways to mount various small items (recovery ramps) and I'm wondering what solid mounting points there are to mount things up above in the space that's not otherwise utilized. Thanks!

Hope these may help. If I remember correctly, unless you want the stuff to be hanging over your head, there is only one support bar that you can use.

Mounting recovery gear inside the cab and above your head isn't a great idea.

Thanks for the pics, Green. Maybe I'll look at finally sealing the sunroof and mounting something to the frame from there.

And I hear you, Fish...I'm thinking about something like one of those trunk dog guards to keep things in the back where they belong, in the back. I'm trying to figure out alternative mounting options so that everything isn't just stacked on top of each other. Thinking outside the box, ya know?

you put a dog guard in and you wont have room to mount sand ladders in the back on the roof. i wouldnt mount anything on the roof except a magnet backed led light.

Why? My rack is mounted directly to my roof (instead of the gutters) and havent had an issue yet.

The roof rails? Or you literally bolted some crap rack thru the actual roof? I'd like to see pics if you did that. Especially if its loaded with gear

I bolted some "crap" rack to the support beams of the roof. Have had up to 200 pounds worth of **** up there while doing some light wheeling, and then a few times have had my girlfriend and I up there with all that crap on it as well, and have not had issues. Its not some bolt wherever hack job, we found the strongest points on the roof, and put the feet on those spots. It could have been done much better if I had money to buy a nice fancy snazy rack like you have, but I didnt, so I improvised. It gets the job done, and so far, it hasn't failed me. Im sure you have something smart to say, so...Lets hear it.

How did you find the strongest points on the roof?
