Default Truck Safe

I'm going to put this little bad boy under my seat. Seems to fit better under the passenger but I think I would rather have it under the drivers seat. I need to see if I can neaten up the wiring under there.

I have no carpet so it will be bolted/riveted to the floor assuming I have the clearance below.

the second sleeve will be bolted to a concrete wall in my house so i can move the safe easily from house to truck.

It's not for quick access so I'm not worried about that.

i riveted the entire back floor to attach my diamond plate. i figured out where I could drill and where I couldn't and it worked out great.

if i cant to that...haven't even looked yet, i will do just that. would also keep it off the floor. nice idea.

just checking tho you mean the base of the seat right?

no i meant under the truck. knew someone who went thru south and latin america. they hid their winch under their truck instead of in their bumper. plus the frame rail under the truck will be harder to rip out then one inside the truck.

ha ha. i still love that idea. a guy threatened to kick my *** last week because of a parking related issue. been a long time since someone did that.

really interesting idea about mounting it under the truck and if I was traveling id consider that. my use is slightly different and id rather keep it inside....for now. i could buy another sleeve tho and do that for extreme moments.
