Default wheel flares

Can someone direct me where to find flares for a D1 to fit larger rubber. I found some fiberglass ones but at $1000 on top of the $2000 for rims and tyres it's a bit much, could get a 2nd hand locker for that. It's a 5 door D1

50mm Lucky8 Llc. - Take the road less traveled...

75mm Lucky8 Llc. - Take the road less traveled...

depending on the size tire you run. I personally like the 50mm better because they are smaller but if you're going really big you'll want the 75mm ones. Also if you're running less than a 35" tire these might make your tires look small and require a lot of cutting.

If you're only going 33" then I would find a set of used DII flares and just "Make" them work. There are a few post about this on the interwebs.

Also, I run no flares on my D1 with 315/75/16 BFG KM2's. So you dont NEED flares to run bigger tires.

Where are you rubbing?
I have 3" RTE springs with some wedge spacers in the rear. I did a Camel Cut in the front and the rear. The rear quarter panel below the trim is also gone. I run stock alloys with 1.5" wheel spacers. I also trimmed the inside of the fender lips and rear doors, but none of that is visible from the outside. I run 11" shocks up front and 12" shocks out back. The only place I rub is on the inside of the wheel arches(immediately above the rear upper spring perch), and that's from the wider tires.
