The best way to find out for sure what you are entitled to is to log into the site below and click on Maps & Services at the top right. Scroll down and see if yours says you have a subscription and when it expires.

Even tho I didn't get the whole update...It did add a collision avoidance feature which flashes a yellow warning if you aren't braking and get too close.
