Thanks. I've booked it into the dealer for next week. Yes I enjoy the car too. Been on some great adventures in it and its perfect for lugging the family around but this doesn't fill me with confidence in terms of what's in store once the warranty runs out. Might sell it for something more reliable. Thanks for responding. Cheers

A leaking windshield isn’t a reliability issue, it’s a quality control at the factory issue.
Once it’s replaced there is no reason it would leak again.

It doesn't have to be this way. In the English forum, after pasting a new window, a new leak occurred.
The colleague has legitimate concerns, which is why JLR should, in addition to removing the defect, extend its warranty and provide free services until the end of its use of this Discovery. I'm fighting for this with a seller in Poland. Even if the case is to go to court

I have a rear window leak on my 2000 Excursion very common failure by the way. Using your logic Ford should fix it and warranty my truck for life

Be patient. The case is gathering pace. New users appeared with the same problem in Poland. The case will soon go to court. Maybe then, in the US, people will finally open their eyes and understand that they have been deceived and have not received any compensation for it. Be there It will be fun. In such a small Poland, you can win more than in the USA LOL!

Here’s the thing, I was making a joke. Frivolous law suits like you are suggesting bringing to court weaken the chances of real issues being addressed. When the leak is repaired you are made whole. You are looking for an unreasonable solution to a non-issue and wasting the courts time in my opinion

Are you paid for by Land Rover? I am sorry, but there is no other logical explanation that you are not directly injured and you tell the victims what to do?

The thing is that the company did not admit its mistake and did not apologize to its clients, because they keep them and exists. The car after replacing the windshield is no longer a brand new car. Theoretically, it is no longer worth as much as before replacing the glass. I would like to remind you that selling a car with a hidden flaw, of which the manufacturer knows, is punishable by law.

At this point I think Novy! thinks everyone on the board is on LR's payroll.

See there you go again Novy making accusations against those that disagree with you.

Are you paid by Toyota to make complaints against Land Rover?

No, but it is strange that people do not defend their rights and allow such large corporations to do so, bowing to them. For sure, the airbag in the pillar was flooded with water. It has definitely been damaged and will not work anymore. Water has run down the pillar and flows out under the passenger compartment. What else she destroyed, a car forensic expert will tell me after seeing the car on Monday morning. Then the car will go to the service and the matter will go to court with the expert's opinion.
