New to LR and looking at 2018 diesel, before buying it I am going to sell my hemi JKU. Therefore, I am not in a rush and wondering when/if LR make any changes in 2019 to the Disco 5. Does LR do updates like this? Jeep is notorious for it, so just wondering if/when we will hear anything. Thanks.

 

They have an updated Diesel engine for 2019 (3.0l with 306HP) which I am desperately trying to find out if the US gets it too (it's available on the EU configurators). I don't know anything else about 2019 yet but they always make small changes.

main difference in my country (BeNeLux) is about cockpit (now fully digital), the electric hatchback become standard (it was already in some countries), the led light and keyless entry
price increased of 2.5k EUR. again this is my country. I know it could changes a lot, as example in UK the HSE version is much richer
unpleasant surprise the engine has same power 240HP but lest torque (from 500nm to 430)
