Hello all. Just picked up a 2019 LR Disco. Drove it from Colorado to Utah yesterday in that snowstorm. Drove and handled like a dream and no issues. Got it home, washed it, no problems. Woke up this morning, looked out the window and noticed the top rear led taillights were on (image below). First thought, well you know, a couple of not so kind words. Got into the car and put the battery on a charger (everything is closed in Utah on Sundays so will have to wait until tomorrow to get a new battery, if needed). Battery is charging, just looked out the window and the lights are off. I have read some other posts in other forums about an LCM module. However, I am not sure if this applies to this vehicle. Looking forward to your responses. Thanks in advance.
You have an SE, which has the standard taillights. The standard taillights only illuminate the top, and the lower white portions don’t light up. The HSE and HSE Luxury have the full red LED taillights and illuminate top and bottom.
regardless, the body-mounted lights are not working in the picture.

Thanks for the reply and the clarification on the lighting options depending on model car. The photo shows what I woke up to in the morning. The lever option in the car was on "AUTO" when I turned off the car the evening prior. I then charged the battery, car started and ran fine. Decided to go grocery shopping. Came out to the windshield wipers on while the car was in the parking lot completely off. The windshield lever arm was set to mist or auto, whatever the first click up is. Obviously, there is something in the system which is not disconnecting the battery from the accessories when the car is shut down. Contacting dealer tomorrow.
Any chance to had attempted to do OTA software update the day before?
Lit taillights in the morning has happened to me 3 times in 5 years.
Classic sign the battery has drained. What I discovered after the 2nd time was the day before I had attempted to do OTA vehicle software update not the infotainment update. Apparently continued to check overnight and drained the battery. I confirmed this doing it intentionally the 3rd time.
