2021 model year Discovery V Updates and "face lift"
Interesting, back in 2019 I sacrificed a lot of models on the lot as they didn’t have vintage tan interior and that was a must for me.
I wanted vintage tan in one of 3 potential colors which would be determined by the options I wanted (with absolutely no dynamic or black pack).
I got everything I wanted bar the rear locker and tow package (the latter I can have the dealer add when necessary) and ended up with my 3rd choice color.
But vintage tan was a must for me!

FYI. my dealer told me this morning they'll start cutting off 2021 orders in March and from then on will be 2022's. no word on any changes yet. (though if you've been following FullFat rumors, a BMW sourced V8 MHEV is likely headed to that model as an option for MY22)
the MY21's have landed in the UK, you can find them showing up on AutoTrader.
the MY22 build change has been confirmed for UK dealers too. orders placed roughly sometime in March and later will be '22's and start arriving there in June (which means mid-July or later here). (Some Defender orders have been already moved to MY22 builds it seems).
Dealers won't know what's new for the D5 (if anything) until they're told the order shift has started. I've decided to wait to order a replacement for my '17 TD6 now. A few months more won't matter at this point and maybe they'll be something different. [fingers crossed for an MHEV diesel

]placed my order last month. Was told I had until the end of this month to make any changes and the vehicle would arrive in May. Now I’m not sure if it will be a MY21 or MY22.
my dealer said something last week about only color and wheel changes allowed right now for MY21, everything else being locked.
