Default AC issues 1/2 warm 1/2 cold??

Has anybody else had this issue? Drivers side dash vents blowing warm and and passenger side is an arctic blast. Got an appt Monday to take it in. Also said issues with software so I could get the update but service writer just called it "version 4" said he had never heard it called version B, C, etc. Not exactly encouraging.

I hate to state the obvious, but do you have the ac controls set higher on one side than the other? Try turning temp up high on the cold side and see what happens. Same turning it down cold on the hot side. That will show you if one of the sides isn't working. Then most likely a stick damper

Mine did that but the drivers was cold and pass was warm. Dealer found it undercharged from the factory and no leaks found. They recharged and all has been fine.
