Dose anyone know how to activate DRLs?

I live in Japan and I bought Disco MY2019.

LR Japan dose not activate DLRs for Japan market due to Japanese road traffic act.
Now road traffic act has been changed and LR Japan activated DRLs for MY2020.

Sounds like something a dealer could do with their laptop/tablet and LR diagnostic software...

I had request to dealer to activate DRLs.
But they answer is can not do that.

They said that Land Rover has setting information for all recent LR vehicles through connected function.(DCM)
So if some update computer setting with out LR agreement, that vehicle will be out of warranty support.

I hope LR will change some setting to activate DRLs through SOTP.

I suspect the “out of warranty” is more a scare tactic so you stop asking (they don’t want to mess with it) because I fail to see how having DRLs turned on would void a warranty when they are turned on in most other countries. Wouldn’t stand up in court.
