Default Additional Front Lights for 2022 Discovery

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I would like to purchase auxiliary front lights for my 2022 Discovery. The roads here in suburban NJ get pretty dark at night and deer are all over. I was thinking lights like those below (not a fan of the light bar look):

https://www.roverparts.com/electrica...y-lights/9203/ Admittedly, I have always been a sucker for those circular Hella lights!

However, where to mount? Aesthetically and functionally, I am wondering if it would look better via a roof rack? I found the below roof rack and I like that it has light mounts, and would like to add one rear light as well. Although admittedly I would NOT tackle this type of job. I would have a professional do it right the first time!

Any experiences with the above lights and/or roof rack? Suggestions? Thanks!

I plan to go with grille mounted using the mounting tabs from Lucky 8.

interesting. and then where do you connect them for use? Does a separate switch need to be installed?

Default Additional LED lights

Try these by Baja. Mounting is super simple with a license plate alum mount. Tap off the engine compartment battery posts. I used a wireless switch so as not to cut into the wiring and void the warranty. Mounted low they’re good fog lights and can be slightly tilted outward for side illumination. Thanks to DieselRanger for suggesting.

That looks great! Which wireless controller did you go with?

I went with SpeedTech. Not perfect, you have to remember to shut it off but cutting into LR wiring could void the warranty.
The whole job was quite inexpensive if you do it yourself.
