So I’m always trailing behind the Tacomas and 4Runners on trail runs, especially the ones with modified shocks. I know I can keep up with them in terms of speed (engine power) but worry if the airbags are meant to go through such modulations, especially on trails.

 

They will be fine. It is a very capable off-road vehicle.
