Default Anyone replaced "Discovery" lettering with "Land Rover"??

I am considering replacing the Discovery hood (bonnet) and back (boot) lettering and putting Land Rover on both because the Disco and Disco Sport have the same and I just like the look of previous Disco's with the Land Rover lettering better than "Discovery" - anyone done this? I'd love to see a pic.

Haven't done it. I actually took off the Land Rover and LR3 on my LR3. When I had a clear bra installed I removed it and never reinstalled it. Might remove Discovery from mine, especially if a letter ever falls off.

I like the idea. Maybe get a clean photoshop rendering first and see how it looks. Or just put the letter “V” dead center, that could look cool!

Interesting....Please let me know if you do this, and how you got the letters. Looks like both have 9 digits so it might be easy?

I bought the letters and they came with a template to space evenly and such. Not sure they follow the curve of the hood well enough to bond properly. Will try on a quiet weekend.

Are the factory letters just stuck on or are they secured with pegs and holes in the hood?

Double sided tape is how they attach.

Wish I had put discovery on my hood instead of new Land Rover when mine needed replaced on the LR3

ive replaces mine with black ones on both range rovers I have and it’s a better to just forget the template and use 1” blue painters tape to create and underline and then a vertical strip in the left side of each letter.

I removed with fishing line after heating them up and it worked like a charm.

Super tweaks sells a great attachment as a drill bit to remove any residue as well.

Getting ready to swap the girlfriends discovery letters to black this weekend.
