Has anyone ever had this feature deploy? I just wonder if it works but I don’t want to try it out.

 

It did once for me on a T point.

 

What’s a T point?

 

My wife said it flashed a big red triangle at her when she came up to fast at a stop sign. Don’t recall if the brakes kicked in.
I haven’t had it happen with me personally though.

 

I had the collision warning go off once when I accelerated towards the car in front before pulling out late to overtake. Flashed up on the screen but no brake activation (thankfully).

 

I saw somewhere in the manual that it only deploys +5 mph, but thankfully I haven't tested it (yet...).

 

I had it kick on in heavy stop and go traffic when I came in a little hot and everybody stopped in front of me. It braked harder than I needed it to but I will say it has a better reaction time than me. Gos back off as quickly as it comes on. Good feature.
