There is a side panel on the right of the trunk in my 2018 Discovery - with the main battery behind it. It seems to be held in place by some sort of sliding plastic clip that has come detached. I can't seem to get it back on and assume it's broken
Trying to find the replacement part. Any ideas on part number. Not the side panel itself - just the plastic slider that holds it in place
I have attached a short length of flexible wire with a loop end that allows me to slide the sliding latch rearward. And I just reach behind and push it to slide it forward. Yes it’s a poor design but not broken and still usable if you examine it with panel removed and see where the sliding latch is supposed to engage with the panel. You have to remove the smaller rearmost panel first but that’s no problem.

There's a rectangular notch in the underside of the slider that can be used to slide it back and forth to engage/disengage... Use a flathead screwdriver. Have to look under to see it.
