Default Blurry HUD - Crystallized Mirror

My HUD is blurry in the center and sharp at the edge. I shined a flashlight in the HUD and noticed that the mirror is "crystallized" and not looking normal.

Have y'all encountered this before? New to me 2018 HSE Lux with 38k miles. I think there's one more month of warranty. About to drop it off at the dealer for that and a couple of other items I've noticed. (battery died Friday and it said charging system error right before 😬, sunroof rattles over small bumps). Really enjoying it 1k miles in as a follow-up to the LR3 I had for 8 years.

Crystallized HUD mirror makes the heads up display blurry

I bet they are going to say 'something was used to clean it that damaged the HUD plastic/glass' - so I'd be prepared to not disclose that you just purchased it as that may limit your bargaining chips (ie what did a prior owner do to it...!) ...Anyway -- Def get this warranted !

Dealer fixed it under warranty! Very glad to have a crystal clear HUD and not a crystallized HUD 😁 it was definitely distracting me as it was clear around the far edges and I kept trying to line it up in the clear. I think it was about a 4.9k repair 😮
