Question A/C blows warm in ECO mode (engine shut off)

When stopped at a light and the engine shuts off, the air conditioning blows warmer, more humid air. It was especially bad in the summer months. Is this normal? I know the engine drives the compressor, so the air won't be chilled necessarily, but does it work this way in all cars, or just Land Rover? Thoughts or comments appreciated.

Just remember to toggle the engine shut-off button in warmer weather. I wish there was a way for the auto-off function to be permanently disabled.

It will blow warmer air for a short time. But once the cabin temp rises a bit it will automatically restart the engine to run the AC compressor. But for a typical stop of a minute or so it's better for fuel economy that it turns off the ac and stops the engine.
