Default Commute Function in Nav

As is typical, LR's Owners Guide is quite cryptic.
How does one use the Commute function - i.e. do you have to select/enter a destination first and then activate Commute, or do you activate Commute first and then select a destination?

After activating Commute, I see a button that says "Finish Setup". If I press it, the button disappears but nothing seems to happen.

I see nothing different on the nav screen.

I do have all the nav-related subscriptions.

The commute function automatically learns your daily commutes. So if you drive to the same places every day, it will eventually remember your commutes and give you the option on the nav to quick select the destination without having to manually type it into the system.

So, i see the Commute function working. Except for one thing: If I push the "Start" button, it starts the guidance to home and shows distance and arrival times. However, there is no voice guidance. It also does not show the impending turns in the dash, as it does with normal guidance. If I stop the Commute and then start the normal Home guidance, voice guidance is there. I assume the Commute function is not intended to be silent?

Now that you mention it, I don't recall voice guidance on the commutes on my old D5 and even my Defender. I could be wrong, but I can verify on my Defender (bear in mind that has a different infotainment system than the 2017-2020 D5) when I pick it up from my service appointment tonight. Despite having two different infotainment systems, they are both very similar in layout and functionality.

Thanks. Please let me know. It seems odd that there wouldn't be voice. But it is a LR, so....

Can confirm the commute function does not have voice guidance.

Thanks. That's ridiculous, though. "We memorized your route for you, but we aren't going to tell you about it." Why have a start button for it?
And not only no voice, but also doesn't show next turns in the driver's display.
Nice going, LR. That's stupider than not having a single unswitched USB port in the vehicle.

I have guidance configured for a female British voice, but then I never use voice because it always interrupts my music at the BEST parts. Lol. On commute guidance, just tap the icon that looks like 3 sheets and you'll be able to turn voice back on.

Thanks. I'll give that a try. Nope. There is no option to turn voice on or off. The only option there is type of map - 2D, 3D, etc.
