I put lemforder control arms on my Jag recently and been very happy with them. They apparently make the OEM control arms for many high quality makes.

Started doing the front and rear lower control arms this weekend. Turned into a bigger job. Recommend using caution when removing the front lower, the baskside of the balljoint end is sharp. So sharp that it sliced the CV axle boot about a 1/16" causing grease to run out as I was removing the joint from the knuckle. I was not even being forceful. LR wanted to rinse me for $1200 after a core return for a new axle. I settled for the NAPA unit for $200. The knuckle side of the shaft was seized no amount of hammering would get it out; appears the face of the axle was rusted to the backside of the bearing. Other than that the control arm R&R is a fairly easy job.

In case others are still looking... Bushings removal hardly seems worth the effort without a hydraulic press.

What are the part numbers for the Lemforder control arms?

I ended up buying a $160 hub puller to get the axle pushed out; well worth the spend. Other than that the control arm R&R is a fairly easy job.

Nice hub puller. Who do I order it from?

You shouldn't need a puller for this job. I tore a cv boot on accident and had to replace it. Nevertheless, I bought it from my local NAPA part number SER 2251

@RyanLR3 I will add my method. I use and air chisel with the point attached. Penetrating oil in combo also.

Nice tool though!

I bought an air chisel before I bought the puller lol. The chisel did not work.
