Any updated suggestions for a diagnostic tool for a Disco 5 Diesel? My Foxwell still doesn't work on my L462 diesel.

I think the IIDTool Gap Diagnostic may be the best thing out there, but the D5 functions are not all fully there (yet), supposedly it will continue to be updated.

grab the gap iid tool. It works great. The door reset didn’t seem to actually reset my mileage. It only did it to 6k

Thanks

I use DashCommand with a Bluetooth OBD2 adapter (Kiwi 3) or Carista with an iPhone.

What does the GAP IID tool do for the 5? You'd think their website would have a list of functionality but all it says is that it is missing functionality.

I bought a Foxwell NT650 pro, (they send me elite) for test. The menu contains 2017 discovery but shows "no communication" when I try to use it to reset service.
However, when I use 2017+ New Range Rover model, I can get service reset same as what I get by pushing two pedals. But when I try to reset oil service, it reads "ECU not supported".
I think it is a diesel vehicle only issue as that there are two difference service reset option in the menu: service reset and oil service reset. I guess that the second one is the one we need to reset to get available mileage back.

I dont have much luck with the customer support, they are responding but kept saying that they would need to find a vehicle like mine to do trouble shoot. Well, TD6 barely exists in China...
I had your same issue. Needed a software update which the warranty covers. Not an infotainment one but one that runs the instrument cluster and actual mechanics.

Stumbled across this thread.
https://landroverforums.com/forum/ne...d-tool-102147/

Thinking of buying this and then downloading Pathfinder onto my laptop. I have a Topix account but I don't subscribe to anything. Just want to reset my service indicator and maybe my battery conditioning monitor when I change the battery.
