Over a year now and need to replace the windshield wiper blades. I already had to send one set of blades back because they do not fit on the Disco's special wiper arm? Anyone have any suggestions besides buying new ones from the LR dealer?
Try online. Merriam parts which is a LR dealer with a good online website. Sells genuine oem parts at a decent discount. Looks like $25 vs $45 for a wiper blade

Amazon sells Trico 24-17B and 20-17B and Trico 12-I rear. Been very happy with the Trico in MN cold. They also have PIAA 97060 and 97050 that fit them. Have not tried the PIAA yet.
Extremely happy with Bosch A 315 S. Had Bosch blades on my XJL before I bought this Discovery L-462. Just push the button on top of the wiper arm pull the old lid off and install the new blade. The connector is already reinstalled. I am not tall so I didn’t need a small step ladder to more easily reach the driver side. It also helps if you use the controls to put the wiper blades in Winter Park.
Of note is the rear wiper blade did not go into Winter Park position. I couldn’t figure out how to make it do that many people said, turn on the rear wiper and then turn it off the car when it is in mid-position. That absolutely DID NOT WORK! When you shut off the car, no matter what position the wiper blade was in it automatically parked in its return position at the very top where you can’t lift up the wiper arm to remove the old blade.
What it work someone suggest you’re turning on their rear wiper blade and then opening the rear hatch. The blade did stay in that position until I closed the rear hatch to try and change out that wiper blade then it parked itself. I FIGURED IT OUT; Open the rear hatch when the wiper blade is in the lower position and then slowly manually start to close it, but do not close it all the way. You’ll just have to lower as far as you can without it latching then you can reach the rear wiper blade lift up the wiper arm squeeze the tabs on the side and tilt the wiper blade forward to remove it because there’s a curved tab (With a notch) on the end. Then you can put the new wiper blade on hooking the notch first and then swinging the wiper blade down and you may have to push from the bottom or from the top or squeeze both the top and the bottom till the tabs in the back lock in place. The matching Bosch rear wiper blade is Bosch A 360 H. Again the matching OEM connector is already installed.
These are closer to the factory sizes than most anyone else that I have seen. And as I said, I was very happy with the performance of these blades on my Jaguar XJL.
There is someone on YouTube, who says you can get OEM blade inserts the way they used to do it when I was a little kid you only paid for a new blade. Insert you didn’t have to replace the whole wiper arm. I’m going to order some and see how easily they are to install on the blades I took off since the only thing that’s really bad is the rubber blade strips. If the ends come apart, and the blade comes out easily, I will let you all know.
